I'm Nancy Miller, Program Coordinator, Internship Coordinator and Associate Professor for the Graphic Design Program at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi. My teachings often reference the vast personal works archived on this portfolio website. I use these samples to support my primary goal as an educator: excellence in career preparation for my students.
As an interactive and graphic artist, my duality allows me immense versatility in implementing effective advertising campaigns or branding executions. Leveraging over 20 years of real-world experience, initially as a Graphic Designer for top-ranking corporations such as Nike Inc., Burton and Hollywood Video Corporation, and later as a Creative Director at MDR Advertising, the largest agency in South Texas, I can conceptualize strong ideas, write copy, develop content and influence a brand from all mediums. I offer solutions, not just services.

I currently serve an R2 Hispanic Serving Unversity as the Program Coordinator for a burgeoning, in-demand Graphic Design program through extensive administrative duties, including budgeting, purchasing, assessment reporting, marketing, promotion, and recruitment. I lead curriculum development and learning outcomes oversite for graduate and undergraduate programs for the discipline. As a full-time tenured faculty, I support student development through hands-on, demonstration-focused instruction in courses emphasizing professional practice. My design subdiscipline specialties include Branding, Packaging, Advertising, User Experience/User Interface, Motion Graphics, Augmented Reality, Client Solutions, Portfolio Development, and Internship. My course development emphasizes networking and outreach by adopting local organizations and small businesses as class clients and exposure to the industry through 30+ annual design-centric student internships that I facilitate through professional connections.
